What is a PLC Expansion Module?

The PLC Expansion Module is an add-on device for PLCs to enhance system capabilities, such as increasing the number of inputs/outputs, adding communication ports, measuring special signals, or controlling specific equipment. Some systems require more input/output channels than what the existing CPU PLC can handle, necessitating the connection of specialized devices like analog sensors, Ethernet ports, or control of Servo and Stepper motors.
