A Master Belt Scale is a master conveyor scale system installed on a conveyor belt to measure the weight of materials being conveyed continuously. This system is commonly used in industries that require measurement of conveyed material quantities, such as mines, cement plants, power plants, and food processing industries.
How Does a Master Belt Scale Work?
Load Cells are installed under the conveyor structure to measure the weight of conveyed materials.
Speed Measurement (Speed Sensor) uses a speed sensor to calculate the quantity of material being conveyed per unit time.
Data Processing calculates the flow rate and total weight using data from Load Cells and Speed Sensors.
Display and Data Logging display weight information on the Weight Indicator screen or send it to a control system.
