Laboratory Scales

Laboratory Scales are?

Laboratory Scales are laboratory scales, designed for highly accurate weight measurements. They are used in scientific research and product development where weight control is required at the milligram or microgram level.

Types of Laboratory Scales

  • Analytical Balances provide a resolution of 0.1 milligrams (mg) or better, used for chemical research, sample analysis, and solution preparation with draft shields to prevent air disturbance.
  • Precision Balances provide a resolution of 1 milligram (mg) or better, used for high-precision work that does not require microgram-level accuracy.
  • Microbalances provide a resolution of 1 microgram (µg), used for weighing very small samples such as nanoscale powders or high-value sample materials.
  • Ultra-Microbalances provide a resolution of 0.1 micrograms (µg), suitable for work requiring the highest accuracy.
  • Top-Loading Balances provide a resolution of 0.01 grams (g) to 0.1 grams, suitable for general work such as weighing chemicals or mixtures.
  • Moisture Analyzers are used to weigh and analyze moisture content in samples such as food or chemicals.
  • Counting Scales are used for counting items, such as sample particles in a laboratory setting.
