Smart Sensor IO-Link Seminar: How to Connect IIoT Systems?
The seminar titled "Smart sensors with IO-Link for IIoT connectivity" concluded successfully on July 23 and 24, 2024. This event was a collaboration between IFM from Germany and SCMA, the sole distributor in Thailand, held at the SCMA headquarters in Nonthaburi province. The aim of this seminar is to promote innovation and technological advancement in Thailand.
The core objective of organizing this seminar was to bring Industry 4.0 into play to enhance factory and industrial development efficiency. This seminar focused on smart IO-Link sensors that collect data from multiple installed sensors for machine control, which are then connected to the IIoT system for improved performance.
Seminar Objectives
- To disseminate new technologies in the industrial sector
- To understand the basic working principles of IO-Link sensor systems and IIoT systems
- To be able to select appropriate IO-Link sensors for automation systems
- For participants to see new product demonstrations and try them out in real use scenarios
This seminar featured two experts from SCMA as speakers:
- Mr. Prachob Bunleang, IFM Unit Director
- Mr. Sawaphat Srimook, Senior Control System Specialist
They provided insightful presentations to the attendees to help them understand and effectively apply smart IO-Link sensors in IIoT systems for maximum efficiency in the industrial sector. SCMA has captured various moments from both days of the event, which you can view at [href="https://www.scma.com/thai-seminar"]this link[/href]. The atmosphere was filled with fun and new technologies to explore. Come take a look!
