- Discharge volume exceeding 10,000 cubic meters per day
- Discharge volume between 3,000 to 10,000 cubic meters per day or have a BOD load (Influent BOD Load) of at least 4,000 kilograms per day
Must install equipment, special tools and additional devices, except for factories that do not discharge wastewater or those that treat wastewater in a central waste treatment plant (Central Waste Treatment Plant), which are exempt from installation.
- Discharge volume between 1,000 to less than 3,000 cubic meters per day
- Discharge volume between 500 to less than 1,000 cubic meters per day
Must have a wastewater treatment system and install equipment, special tools and additional devices, along with reporting the discharge of wastewater from the factory into the computer network system of the Department of Industrial Works.
Special tools or equipment and additional tools or equipment that must be installed
- Install a flow meter for wastewater discharge from the factory and an electricity usage meter for the sewage treatment system. These meters must continuously provide electrical signals to feed into the factory's computer system for data recording and continuous retrospective display.
- A Biochemical Oxygen Demand (BOD) or Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD) measuring device for wastewater that can continuously provide electrical signals. Some factories may need to install both types of devices, which must be approved by the Department of Industrial Works.
Requirements for signal-changing equipment used in installation
- Must have an alarm system when measurement values exceed limits.
- Can send signals to external receiving points prepared by the Department of Industrial Works.
- Can be connected and used with the Department of Industrial Works' computer network system.
- Can be controlled remotely from a remote control system.
