1. Battery Charging and Discharging Simulation (Charging and Discharging Test)
GPP-x323 can simulate both charging (power output) and discharging (current sink/load) of a battery within one unit without needing external electronic load devices:
- Charging Setup (Power Output): Set Channel 1 as the power source by configuring the output voltage and current according to the battery's charging requirements (serves to charge DUT/battery)
- Discharging Setup (Current Sink/Load): Set Channel 2 in Current Sink mode by setting the current according to the energy consumption of electronic devices connected to the battery (serves to draw current from DUT/battery)
This allows users to conduct tests in limited spaces and reduce testing equipment costs.
2. DC-DC Converter Testing
The function can be used for testing devices that convert direct current voltage into another direct current voltage (DC-DC Converter):
- Supply Input: Use one channel as the input power supply to the DC-DC Converter (DUT)
- Simulate Load: Use another channel for load function (Load Function) to simulate loads connected to the output of the DC-DC Converter to evaluate conversion efficiency under various loading conditions

The load function of the GPP-x323 supports operation in constant voltage (CV), constant current (CC), and constant resistance (CR) modes up to 32V/3.2A/1k$\Omega$.
GPP-x323 can test battery charging and discharging without connecting to electronic loads, which helps reduce testing space and equipment costs.
Users can adjust the Sequential Output function according to DUT testing requirements so that Channel 1 creates sequential voltage output to DUT, and set Channel 2 as a load for DUT during testing. The minimum test time can be set at 1 second based on DUT load characteristics, such as DC-DC Converter tests.
