On October 8 and 9, 2024, the SCMA headquarters organized a seminar titled "How do Smart Sensors with IO-Link Connect to IIoT?" (Smart sensors with IO-Link for IIoT connectivity), in collaboration with ifm electronic from Germany and SCMA, the sole distributor in Thailand. This event aims to promote innovation and technological advancement in Thailand.
Seminar to Move Towards Industry 4.0
At the heart of organizing this seminar, how do smart IO-Link sensors connect IIoT systems? It is about bringing Industry 4.0 into factory and industrial development to enhance efficiency by using smart IO-Link sensors that collect data from multiple installed sensors for machine control, which will then be connected to an IIoT system to improve production efficiency.
Purpose of the Seminar
- To disseminate new technologies in the industry
- To understand the basic working principles of IO-Link sensor systems and IIoT systems
- To be able to select appropriate IO-Link sensor types for automation systems
- For participants to see new product samples and try them out in real use
Expert Lecturers from SCMA
- Mr. Prachob Bunleuk, Position: ifm unit director
- Mr. Sawaphat Srimook, Position: Senior Control System Specialist
They will come to lecture for the participants so that they can get acquainted with and understand how to use smart IO-Link sensors in IIoT systems to achieve maximum efficiency in industry. In addition, seminar attendees also have the opportunity to tour products distributed and produced by SCMA to promote the industry. SCMA has collected various photos from both days of the event for everyone to view. The atmosphere is full of fun, and what technologies are there to see? Let's take a look.
