SCMA Organizes Training Seminar "Supplier Management and Performance Evaluation" to Enhance Supply Chain Capabilities

SCMA Co., Ltd. or SCMA, led by Mr. Prasert Suksukhachai, Chairman of the Board, along with all executives and employees, would like to express gratitude to Dr. Chaiwat Ratnamahathana, founder of the Purchasing and Supply Chain Management Association of Thailand (PSCT), for his honor in being a guest lecturer at the training seminar on "Supplier Management & Value Added Assessment" held at SCMA Co., Ltd.'s headquarters on November 19, 2025.

This training seminar was organized with the objective of enhancing knowledge and understanding as well as providing systematic approaches to supplier management that participants can effectively apply in their actual work. Especially in an era where supply chain management plays a crucial role in organizational competitiveness.

Enhancing Professional Knowledge in Supplier Management

During the event, Dr. Chaiwat shared valuable knowledge and experiences regarding supplier management, from basic concepts of partner selection, evaluation of supplier capabilities, building sustainable business relationships to systematic performance measurement of partners.

The training topics also covered approaches for value-added assessment from suppliers or Value Added Assessment, which is another critical component that helps organizations evaluate the value received from partners beyond price considerations. It includes product and service quality, reliability, punctuality, development capabilities, and involvement in enhancing organizational efficiency.

Managing Vendors & Value Added Assessment To Enhance Procurement and Supply Chain Management

The topic Managing Vendors & Value Added Assessment is a crucial issue for organizations aiming to elevate procurement processes, vendor management, and supply chain management to be more robust. Suppliers are not merely providers of goods and services but also business partners that significantly impact the quality, cost, speed, and continuity of an organization's operations.

Effective supplier management helps organizations reduce operational risks, increase transparency in procurement processes, plan work efficiently, and establish clear standards for evaluating partner performance. It also fosters long-term cooperation between organizations and suppliers sustainably.
