Working Principle

This type of solid state relay operates based on the principle of Phase Angle Control which means controlling the duration of AC sine wave opening in each cycle: Analog Input (4-20mA or 0-10VDC) is converted into control signals within SSR. The internal system delays (Delay) the opening of the AC signal in each half-cycle (Half Cycle) of power. The more input, the faster the relay opens in the sine wave, resulting in more energy being sent to the load. As a result, the load (such as heater) receives more or less energy according to the input.
