SG3-DA100-A2-2L Three phases Input 12-32VDC Output 48-480VAC Current 100A Solid State Relay (SSR) three-phase SSR that uses DC input and AC output In this case, the Solid State Relay (SSR) operates with a DC input voltage (such as 3V, 5V, 12V or 24V DC) and an AC output voltage (such as 220V AC or 380V AC) for controlling AC-powered loads

Working Principle

  • Input (DC Control Signal): The DC input triggers the SSR through a circuit that uses opto-isolator or LED to send signals to the control circuit of the SSR. When an appropriate DC signal reaches the Input, the SSR opens the opto-isolator circuit which separates the control circuit voltage from the load circuit (AC power). The Input may have DC voltages in the range of 3V, 5V, 12V or 24V depending on the SSR model.
  • Output (AC Load Control): When the SSR receives a signal from the Input, it controls the AC-powered load circuits such as three-phase motors, heaters, or industrial electricity. In this operation, the SSR works in either Random Turn-on or Zero Crossing mode, depending on the SSR design. For DC input models, immediate circuit opening (Random Turn-on) may be observed.
