Principle of Operation

• The Phase Angle Control SCR acts as a power supply switch controlled by Gate signal timing.
• Adjusting phase angle is delaying the power delivery time in each cycle of sine wave, allowing voltage output control.
• Voltage can be adjusted continuously (0–100%) as required.
• Operates in three-phase electrical systems (3-Phase).
• Suitable for 3-phase 200–480VAC system using six SCRs per circuit (two per phase).
