Working Principle of Solid State Relay Model : SG1-DA100-A1 Single phases Input 4-32VDC Output 24-280VAC Current 100A

  • Input DC / Output AC Working Principle
  • Input (Input DC): Accepts DC voltage (e.g., 3–32VDC) to command the SSR to operate
  • When DC power is applied to the input terminal → It triggers the SSR to "close the circuit" at the output terminal
  • Isolation:
  • Uses Opto-Isolator (PhotoCoupler) to separate between control circuits (DC) and power circuits (AC) for safety
  • Drive Section (Output): Typically uses Triac or SCR to switch AC current (AC) to the load
  • When input is activated → Output will "connect" allowing AC current to flow to the load. General characteristics of SSR (Input DC / Output AC)
  • Control Voltage (Input Voltage) 3–32VDC (e.g., 5VDC, 12VDC, 24VDC are available)
