Capacitive sensors

What are Capacitive Sensors?

Capacitive sensors are sensors used to detect metallic, non-metallic objects, and various liquids with high accuracy. They can be selected for a wide range of applications such as detecting liquid levels, seeds, plastic pellets, etc., inside silos through acrylic viewing windows (Sight glass).

Advantages of Capacitive Sensors

  • Capacitive sensors have high detection sensitivity.
  • They can detect insulating objects like plastic and glass.
  • No direct contact with the object is necessary, reducing potential damage during use.
