Principle of Operation

• The Phase Angle Control SCR acts as a power switch controlled by the Gate signal, regulating the timing of circuit closure.
• Adjusting the phase angle is delaying the delivery of power in each cycle of the sine wave, allowing control over the output voltage.
• Voltage can be continuously adjusted (0–100%) as required.
• Operates in a three-phase electrical system (3-Phase).
• Suitable for 3-phase systems of 200–480VAC, using six SCRs per circuit (two per phase).
