The ATF-63H Pressure Gauge/Taper Thread Bottom (0~50bar, 1/4"PT SUS304 Bottom) is a pressure gauge without oil with side-mounted pointer mechanism that offers convenient and easy use suitable for all industries.

• Bourdon Tube: A curved metal tube in the shape of a C or oval which expands when pressurized
• Gear & Pointer Mechanism: Converts the expansion of the tube into the rotation of the measuring needle
• Housing: The rear or side has an output shaft for installation purposes
• Dry Type (No Oil): No glycerin oil inside, suitable for non-vibrating environments                     

Working Principle of ATF-63H Pressure Gauge/Taper Thread Bottom (0~50bar, 1/4"PT SUS304 Bottom)

The pressure from liquids or gases (such as air, water, oil, etc.) enters the Bourdon tube causing it to expand slightly. As the pressure increases, the end of the tube moves. The end of the Bourdon tube is connected to a gear mechanism which converts linear movement into needle rotation. The needle rotates to a position corresponding to the measured pressure on the dial.
