• Bourdon Tube: A curved metal tube in the shape of a C or oval that expands when pressurized
• Gear & Pointer Mechanism: Converts the expansion of the tube into the rotation of the measuring needle
• Housing: The back or side has an external shaft for mounting
• Dry Type (Oil-free): No glycerin oil inside, suitable for non-vibrating environments

The pressure from liquids or gases (such as air, water, oil, etc.) enters the Bourdon tube and causes it to expand slightly. As the pressure increases, the end of the tube moves. The end of the Bourdon tube is connected to a gear mechanism that converts linear movement into needle rotation. The needle rotates to a position corresponding to the measured pressure on the dial.
